A growing city

Bozeman Branch Library

The city of Bozeman has been expanding rapidly over the past five years, and the now metropolis has outgrown a lot of its main central locations. Bozeman Main St, once having been the centralized location of the city now sits at the east side of town. Bozeman now calls for new civic centers to help promote community and character in the new expanding areas of the city.

The “Northwest Crossing” as called by city planners and officials, is aimed to be a new central location of Bozeman. The main goal for this part of town is to create a culture, identity, and community that has its roots beyond just the landscape. We want to find its “roots” in the people that reside there.

A library is a space meant for people. They are designed to push the desire for knowledge and growth of a people, and can be a great civic space for this community.
