danforth Chapel
Re-designing a sacred space for a growing, religiously diverse community.
The Danforth Chapel has been a central point of the Montana State Campus for the past 50 years. With the changing community and as the diversity of the campus grows, it has been apparent that the use of this space needs to change with its surroundings.
Re-imagined as an inclusive spiritual space, the chapel sits close to the newly developed Native American Indian Hall. The materials chosen for this project were informed by its neighboring hall. It's form and unique roof and structural design will pose as an attractive space for all people from different walks of life.
